Dr. Carl Larson was born in Pensacola, Florida and graduated from Guntersville High School in 1998.  He then attended and graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2002 with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry as well as business administration.  Dr. Larson attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry and graduated in June of 2006.  He began his dental practice, Lake Guntersville Dentistry,LLC in July of 2006 and has now opened his state-of-the-art private dental facility at 1621 Blount Ave.

Dr. Carl Larson is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Alabama Dental Association (ALDA), University of Alabama School of Dentistry Alumni Association, 5th District Dental Society, Guntersville Rotary Club, Guntersville Chamber of Commerce, and the First United Methodist Church of Guntersville.   Dr. Carl Larson is the son of Dr. Charles Larson, who is a family practice physician at the VA clinic in Guntersville, and Beverly Larson of Guntersville.  His wife, Elishaba Larson, is an FCA sponsor enjoying her fifth year at Guntersville High School, now as the media specialist.  Dr. Larson enjoys bass fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, kayaking, and just about any other sport associated with the lake.
Dr. Carl Larson is blessed with two children, Charles Allan "Chase" Larson and Anna Sophia Larson.
